Part 5 is a spin-off within my DinBo alt-universe story, though the focus in this part will be on the missions/travel/bounty hunting adventures that they get up to. Not currently sure how much actual DinBo there will be (and def NO smut). Original characters from Part 4 will be mentioned (at least), but I think this part should technically be able to stand alone.

Amid an atmosphere of mistrust and danger, it is revealed that the protagonist is enslaved and scarred by physical abuse, creating a moral dilemma for the bounty hunter. The story delves into the young woman’s vulnerability and regain of her humanity. Emotional confrontation where survival and loyalty are put to the test.

DinBo/BoDin sequel to Mandalorian Season 3 (SPOILERS)
DinBo's story as they're resettling Mandalore. My goal is to hit on the events of the time-skips at the end of S3E8/Chapter 24 and add a lot of my own original missing scenes. Potentially some world-building because they're starting afresh! Slow burn, happy ending, fluff, angst, switching POV, no smut.
I recommend reading the other 3 parts (9.3K words, canon-inserts into S3E7-E8) to understand some details and get a relevant summary of the events likely referenced in Part 4, but this can be read as a stand-alone fic.
As close to accurate as I can be with canon (pre-May 2026 movie release), based on research I've done and/or shows I've watched.
I will try to update every week, with about 4-7 days in between. HOWEVER, last several chapters will definitely take a little longer to publish because of my life getting complicated.Update 5/7/24: my little one was born less than 24 hours after publishing chapter 18, and I haven't had much time to write. I'm sorry for the delays!

Summary

Mandalorians weren't a common sight on Tatooine, even for a Jedi-turned-bounty hunter by the name of Annalisa Veruna. She had lived on the dirt planet ever since she and her father escaped the terror that occurred at Coruscant, left to fend theirselves after Anakin Skywalker wreaked havoc on the Temple. Annalisa witnessed the horror at age six. Her father retreated to the planet to take care of her and her newborn sister.
The Empire had fallen. Annalisa witnessed it all. She was there when her sister stabbed a lightsaber through their father's chest and when she fled to join the Empire. Now that it disappeared into the shadows, Annalisa was left alone in her childhood home with two droids. Hunting was what she was good at and it paid for her necessities. Even when most would say she was living a good life, there was something missing: a sense of adventure. Her body ached to be in another battle for the greater good of the galaxy.
It wasn't until a constantly repaired, worn-out "Razor Crest" landed in bay three-five that Annalisa saw how crazy her tracking fob had gone. Whatever fifty year old quarry was on that ship, everyone was after it. It called for an investigation...
And perhaps an adventure.
