Instead he gets roasted by teenagers, solves a murder, fails at being gainfully employed, stalks a Harbinger, gives bad advice, becomes a local legend, racks up a truly tremendous food bill at Wanmin Restaurant, gets arrested, and avoids responding to letters... He might even make friends.
aka, Diluc is lovingly bullied by the Liyue cast into addressing his emotional trauma and unprocessed grief. Sometimes you just have to get away from home to get out of your head.
