It was Orange’s first true mission since they’d grown into young adult. They had a simple mission aboard the Skeild: kill, eat, don’t get caught, reproduce, teach the young, and repeat. However, Orange finds its much harder than they originally thought. How did their dad make this look so easy?

Blue shuffles through the tunnels with relative ease, keeping their ears trained for any sound above them. They peek out. They don’t see anyone, except for a flicker of lime in the corner of their eye-
Oh. It’s Lime’s kit. Crouched down onto his knees he digs around in some of Polus’ snow, doing who knows what with it. Blue nearly turns around back into the vent, but doesn’t. Where’s Red? She seems to be nowhere nearby. Blue debates for just a minute before calling to the kit.
“Hey, what’re you doing here?” Blue asks, voice quiet.
He seems to visibly light up at the sight of them, even if they’re halfway crawled out of a vent.

Blue encounters the crews only child on board. With his mother no longer around, and the rest of the crew not seeming competent enough to take of him, Blue takes the job. Everything else is a bonus, ones they won’t turn down. -

He had hoped Polus would be his out, to get away from his less than kind crew, and his boyfriend Black. Pink requested a transfer to the facility a month and a half ago and had been approved with a good recommendation from Captain Blue. Lime begged him to get a transfer to anywhere but Polus, but Pink wouldn’t budge. And upon Pink refusing to stay Lime requested a transfer to the Polus facility as well. Lime said she would watch his back and that someone had to keep him alive. He didn’t tell Black in hopes that he wouldn’t notice that Pink hadn’t boarded the ship until they had taken off. It was supposed to be a quick exchange of resources and fuel so their ship, The Skeld, could make it to the next station. No more than 3 hours, but that wasn’t what happened.
or: After almost being killed by his abusive boyfriend Pink finds himself as an accidental dad to a young imposter. When he thought his life couldn't get any stranger his boyfriend, Black, seems to have made a complete 180 in his character. Pink doesn't know how to feel about it, but hopes that his luck is finally changing for the better.
